An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Crooked Streets, the 1920 Paul Powell silent China opium drug smuggling romantic melodrama ("Adapted from the story, 'Dinner at Eight' by Samuel Merwin."; about a secretary to a professor who goes with him to China to buy antique vases, and she is almost kidnapped, but is rescued by an Englishman, and the Englishman, who is a British Secret Service agent, proves that the professor was going to smuggle opium back to the U.S. in the vases, and it turns out the secretary is a U.S. Secret Service agent, and of course, the two fall in love) starring Ethel Clayton, Jack Holt, Clyde Fillmore, Clarence Geldart, Josephine Crowell, and Fred Starr NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a complete set of 8 lobby cards from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this title card, which is only the second example of it we have ever auctioned!
