Guilty Bystander, the 1950 Joseph Lerner New York City alcoholic detective mystery kidnapping crime film noir ("How innocent can a bystander be?"; "This man wants something..."; "From the novel by Wade Miller"; "Eyewitness Realism!"; a true film noir about an alcoholic ex-police detective who can only get work as a bouncer at a sleazy rooming house, and his ex-wife comes to tell him that their 3 year-old son has been kidnapped, and the "hero" must stay sober long enough to try to get his son back) starring Zachary Scott, Faye Emerson, Mary Boland, Sam Levene, J. Edward Bromberg, Kay Medford, and Jed Prouty

Important Added Info: Note that the film distributor "Film Classics" primarily distributed re-releases of major studios in the late 1940s and 1950s, but they DID produce a few of their own movies, including this one. This is the first release of this movie, and it NOT a re-release!

Condition: fair. There are stains in the top and bottom center of the poster and there are creases and stains in the middle right of the poster. There is surface paper loss in the right corners caused by rough removal of pins and there is tape on the front and back of the bottom left corner where tape was roughly removed.
