An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Feed 'em and Weep, the 1928 Fred Guiol comedy short (written by Leo McCarey; about two pretty young ladies who get a job at a diner opposite a train station, and it is empty until a train stops, and then the diner is filled with impatient customers wanting to eat quickly!) starring Anita Garvin, Marion Byron, Max Davidson, Edgar Kennedy, and Frank Alexander. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist (although a few fragments do). Note that the title is a take off on the classic gambling poker phrase "Read 'em and weep", which players say when they are about to show an unbeatable winning hand; it was a cliche by 1928 when the first movie with this title was made, and it is still said in poker rooms everywhere in the current day! Note that there is a 1938 Our Gang short with the same title, but it has no connection to this movie other than the same title.

Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm].
