Laurel and Hardy, the 1932 poster for Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy 1930s movies. Note that this was one of a series of special personality posters created by MGM for their top stars in 1932. MGM had created an earlier series in the 1920s, and went on to create two more series later in the 1930s. Theaters would order this poster when they showed a movie starring Laurel & Hardy, and then display it in their lobby alongside the posters. Note that on the image of this personality poster, the heads of Laurel & Hardy are literally life-sized! These personality posters are extremely rare, and few have survived.
