An Original Vintage Unfolded Political Campaign Poster (measures 12 1/4" x 17 1/4" [31 x 44 cm]) (Learn More) Theodore Roosevelt (also known as "Teddy Roosevelt") was an author, naturalist, explorer, historian, and politician who served as the 26th President of the United States from 1901 to 1909. He is also well-known for being part of the Rough Riders during the Spanish-American War as well as an explorer in his later life. He won the Nobel Peace Prize for negotiating an end to the Russo-Japanese War in 1906 and has been ranked by scholars as one of the greatest U.S. Presidents. His visage has been carved into Mount Rushmore alongside George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln. He passed away in his sleep from a blood clot in 1919 at the age of 60. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair. The poster is extremely fragile and it has much paper loss around the edges, but it is extremely fortunate that it is almost completely the blank borders and the borders of the "frame" part of the image that are affected, so certainly a talented restorer could linenback the poster, and with proper restoration it will look great. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored. Learn More about condition grades
