17. Deutsches Jazz Festival (literally translates to "17th German Jazz Festival"), the 1980 German poster advertising a music festival held in Frankfurt from October 9th to the 12th. Note that this poster features a wild image of a completely twisted horn instrument by Gunther Kieser! Karl Georg Gunther Kieser is a German graphic designer and sculptor from the 1940s to the present. He has been known since the 1960s for his poster design for the German Jazz Festival Frankfurt, and the concert agency Lippmann + Rau. He is considered one of the most important German designers of jazz and rock posters.
