Date Sold 4/17/2016 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 3 set reference 8x10 stills from Tyrant of the Sea, the 1950 Lew Landers 19th century High Seas navy thriller ("Suicide invasion of hostile seas!"; "Mutiny on the seas.Rebellion in the boudoir!"; "Written for the screen by Robert Libott and Frank Burt") starring Rhys Williams, Ron Randell, Valentine Perkins, Doris Lloyd, and Harry Cording. Note that all of these set reference photos measure 8" x 10". Some of them have a visible clapboard in the image that gives the details about the movie and some do not. The studios would use these images for reference if they needed to shoot additional footage at a later time after the set was taken down.
