Miranda, the 1948 (released in the U.S. in 1949) Ken Annakin English romantic mermaid fantasy comedy ("That wonderfully funny motion picture..."; "Miranda has everything!") starring Glynis Johns, Googie Withers, Griffith Jones, John McCallum, David Tomlinson, Yvonne Owen, Sonia Holm, and Margaret Rutherford

Important Added Info: Note that this is a country of origin trade ad for this English movie. Also note that this is 1 of 29 great two-page trade ads taken out of Kinematograph Weekly English trade magazines. Studios would run these elaborate 2-page ads in issues of this magazine, and they often had images not found on any of the regular movie posters (either English or U.S.). This 2-page trade ad was removed from a 1948 issue of this magazine, and it will look incredible displayed on the new owner's wall. The back of those two pages have text or ads for other movies from that time, and we have not pictured those back pages, because, of course, the primary interest to bidders is the great two-page color ad, which measures 11" x 17". Earlier in 2018, we auctioned 18 similar 2-page English trade ads, and all but a handful auctioned for $20 each or more, and two sold for over $100 each!

Condition: good to very good. The trade ad was removed from a magazine, and the two pages have separated down the middle and there is slight paper loss in the left edge of the right page (see our image).
