A pursuer of stimulation, indulgence and licentious self-gratification. 'The Sensualist' goes further than 'Last Tango in Paris' in its presentation of intimate happenings. It panders to no taboos and it is irresistably daring, shocking funny and liberating. It hurdles slam-bang into the traditional rituals of the bourgeoisie!") starring Rutger Hauer (in his third credited movie role!), Monique van de Ven, Tonny Huurdeman, Wim van den Brink, Hans Boskamp, and Dolf de Vries. Note that this excellent movie, which was years ahead of its time (and which combined the talents of Paul Verhoeven and Rutger Hauer before they made U.S. movies!), was a challenge for the studios and how to market it! It was released under the title "Turkish Delight" with one ad campaign, and was also given a completely different release under the title "Eric and Olga"!
