An Unfolded Austrian Advertising Poster (measures 23" x 33" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) Caro, the 1960s Austrian advertising poster (with taglines that translate to "Caro for breakfast, for a snack, Caro always tastes good"; "Hearty, delicious and healthy"; "Healthy, fully-soluble ready-to-drink") promoting the purchase of Caro coffee substitute, and featuring a Walter Muller design. Note that Walter Muller co-founded a Stuttgart advertising agency after World War II (WWII), and in 1949 he founded his own agency called "Plan+Form". Also note that several countries in the Eastern Bloc, as well as the Soviet Union, used hot grain drinks as a substitute for coffee during perpetual shortages. These shortages were blamed by local governments by alleged Western trade embargoes! Artist: Walter Muller Condition: very good.
