Date Sold 7/10/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 29 1990s re-print comic books from The Vault of Horror was an American bi-monthly horror comic anthology series published by EC Comics (E.C. Comics) in the early 1950s. Along with Tales from the Crypt and The Haunt of Fear, it formed a trifecta of popular E.C. horror anthologies. The Vault of Horror hit newsstands with its April/May 1950 issue and ceased publication with its December/January 1955 issue, producing a total of 29 issues. Since then, the series has been reprinted multiple times in various formats. Measurements: each measures approximately 6 1/2" x 10"Note that we were consigned just about every one of these EC reprints, from a collector who purchased them when they first came out and kept them in very nice condition ever since! We are auctioning them by each title, with the full set in each lot (with the exception of the "New Trend" titles, which we have together in a single lot). As you may or may not know, some people are "slabbing" some of these and putting them on eBay, where they sometimes sell for astronomical prices, but here is your chance to get the entire run of this title, all for a single bid, and since these auctions truly have no reserve, every set will sell, no matter how low the final high bid is!
