Date Sold 6/10/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original 1967 Vintage Photographic Transparency (measures 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]) (Learn More) Per Qualche Dollaro in Piu (released in the U.S. in 1967 as "For a Few Dollars More"), the classic 1965 Sergio Leone German/Italian/Spanish cowboy spaghetti western sequel ("The man with no name is back! The man in black is waiting..."; "It's the second motion picture of its kind! It won't be the last!"; "The man with no name is back! The man in black is waiting... A walking arsenal - he uncoils, strikes and kills!") starring Clint Eastwood (as Monco), Lee Van Cleef (as Col. Mortimer), Gian Maria Volonte, Mara Krupp (billed as "Mara Krup"), Luigi Pistilli, Klaus Kinski (as Juan Wild, the Hunchback), Joseph Egger (billed as "Josef Egger"), Panos Papadopulos, Benito Steffanelli, Roberto Camardiel, Aldo Sambrell, Luis Rodriguez, and Mario Brega. Note that this movie was released in December of 1965 (no doubt to qualify for awards), but most of the Italian posters from the first release are dated 1966. This same situation exists with La Dolce Vita and many other classic movies. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: The transparency come with a dated sheet from United Artists related to these transparencies (see our image). Obviously, it guarantees that this is an original transparency sent directly from the studio in the year the movie came out! Note that this is a studio-issued transparency that is produced by the studio but is not the camera original. When a smaller format film was originally used, a larger copy transparency was often made by the studio so that retouching could be added and sent out or used for approved publication purposes. The transparency is in a plastic sleeve (but we removed it and scanned it, so that bidders could see just how high quality it is). It will be sent to the winner of the auction in the plastic sleeve. This is a very special auction of 444 extremely rare negatives and transparencies of various sizes. EVERY single one in this auction is either "studio issued" (meaning it was created by the studio and sent to theaters and movie outlets), OR it is a "camera original" (meaning it was the actual negative that was in the camera when the photographer took the picture). Every auction clearly identifies which they are, and there are no items being auctioned that are not either "studio issue" or "camera originals". We have divided them by type and size. Also note that every one of these 444 auctions have had their transparencies and/or negatives scanned expertly. This auction contains that scan with the "eMoviePoster.com" watermark over it. ONLY the winner of this auction will, on request, be sent UNWATERMARKED scan(s) of the items in this auction, which will both save them the time and expense of scanning them themselves, and also allow them to make high quality positive prints of the items they purchased. Condition: very good to fine. The transparency is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
