An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Earl's Six Diving Nymphs, the 1917 local theater window card ("In conjunction with 4 other big acts") advertising a swim show for the week of February 22nd at the Family Theatre. The "Earl" in the title is Charles T. Earl, who was a vaudeville promoter who put together unusual novelty acts for vaudeville circuits, and we think that was his sole connection to these "Six Diving Nymphs". We found a newspaper ad telling how they were organized in 1917, but we could find no more about that. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters.
