She went to UCLA and studied acting, and at 18 was given a bit part in a Fox movie, and was signed to a studio contract. By the following year she was a star! She made 23 films for Fox over 10 years, and some of her movies include: Pinky (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), A Letter to Three Wives, Leave Her to Heaven, People Will Talk, Cheaper by the Dozen, and State Fair. She passed away in 2003 at the age of 78. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Jeanne Crain! Our consignor obtained this photo and several others from the estate of Kay Daly, who was the head of fan clubs for Doris Day, Dinah Shore, and Betty White. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
