An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures approximately 9" x 12"; contains 4 supplements, and 10 stills) (Learn More) Kagemusha (released in the U.S. as "Kagemusha, the Shadow Warrior"), the 1980 Akira Kurosawa Japanese samurai warrior war melodrama ("George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola present a film by Akira Kurosawa"; "Palme D'Or Co-Winner best film 1980 Cannes Film Festival"; about a poor thief recruited to impersonate a powerful Japanese warlord who finds difficulty living up to his role and clashes with the spirit of the warlord during turbulent times in the kingdom) starring Tatsuya Nakadai (in the title role as Kagemusha), Tsutomu Yamazaki, Kenichi Hagiwara, Jinpachi Nezu, Hideji Otaki, and Daisuke Ryu NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and four of the stills (less than four if the presskit has less than four stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN FOUR OF THEM (and we pretty much picked four stills at random). Note that on our larger lots of black and white stills (usually ones with nine or more in the lot), there are a small number of lots where there may be one or several duplicated stills in the stills not pictured (we only picture four of the stills on most of the black and white lots). We tried to note when some of the stills not pictured were duplicates to the ones that were pictured, but we may not have caught that every time, so please do not bid on the lots of nine or more stills unless you can accept the possibility that there may be some duplicated stills contained in the lot (there also may be a very few of the lots with eight or less stills that have a duplicate in them, but that is far less likely). Condition: very good to fine. Many of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are in really excellent condition. Sometimes the folder that contains the stills has some minor wear on it, and you should be able to see that in our super-sized image. Learn More about condition grades
