Important Added Info: Note that it is very difficult to find a lobby card with even a tiny image of Frances Farmer, but this lobby card has a great close image of Bing Crosby serenading Frances Farmer with a ukulele! We have only auctioned this card twice before, and only once in the last 16 years! Our consignor purchased this lobby card (and several others, which are in separate auctions) from an estate sale of some of David Gest's belongings, including many lobby cards. Mr. Gest was a lobby card collector since the 1970s, and he was a close personal friend of Michael Jackson's (and later married to Liza Minnelli!), and he had a special love of Preston Sturges, Frances Farmer, and a few others, and he tracked down many great rarities (as can be seen by what we are offering from his collection!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There is tiny surface paper loss in the right of the bottom blank border and very minor creases around the edges. There is a faint scuff mark in Crosby's shoulder extending into the background above. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
