Le Costaud des Batignolles (literally translates to "The Strong Batignolles"), the 1952 Guy Lacourt French romantic crime comedy (about a puny man who magically gets ridiculously strong when a woman kisses him!) starring Raymond Bussieres, Annette Poivre, Armand Bernard, Colette Darfeuil, Alexandre Rignault, Jean Max, and Matty Peters (billed as "Mattye Petter's"). It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was backed on to a very thin linen with no excess, and some amateur restoration was performed (see our image). Because it was roughly handled, it also has some tiny tears around the edges and some small areas where the edges of the poster are slightly lifting from the linen (see our super-sized image).
