Fly Me, the 1973 Cirio Santiago U.S./Filipino kung fu action sexploitation movie ("This airline serves three wild dishes. Take your choice"; "'I'm Toby, fly me as far as you want.'"; "'I'm Andrea, my foreign lay-overs are very stimulating.'"; "' I'm Sherry, buy a ticket and I come free!'"; "See Stewardesses battle Kung Fu Killers!"; about three stewardesses battling kung fu martial arts fighters!) starring Pat Anderson, Lenore Kasdorf, Lyllah Torena, Naomi Stevens, Dick Miller, Ken Metcalfe, Vic Diaz, and Richard Roake. Note that future big-budget directors Jonathan Demme (Silence of the Lambs) and Joe Dante (Gremlins) both worked on this film, Demme directed the kung-fu scenes and Dante was a dialogue director. Producer Roger Corman also wanted to hide that it was filmed in the Philippines, and hired Curtis Hanson (future director of L.A. Confidential) to shoot an opening sequence in Los Angeles.
