Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had scuffs scattered in the top of the sky background at upper left, and some in the top of the upper right image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. At some point after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and there are now three diagonal creases in the top right corner of both the poster and the excess linen. Learn More about condition grades
