Wodehouse"; oddly, this was a remake of a 1919 movie based on a P.G. Wodehouse story, with much music by George and Ira Gershwin; the grafting of musical comedy onto a serious story was not received well at the box office, but the movie is worth seeing for its great star power) starring Fred Astaire, George Burns & Gracie Allen (Burns & Allen of 1950s TV fame!), Joan Fontaine, Reginald Gardiner, Ray Noble, Constance Collier, Montagu Love, and Harry Watson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fair to good. There are some light stains throughout both stills including some in Astaire's image in the still pictured at bottom.
