Note that we understand that the distributors of the movie wanted to get the idea across that this was an "Asian Emanuelle", but was not their choice of title very "politically incorrect"? Also note that after the success of the 1974 film Emmanuelle, many authorized sequels were created. The success also spawned many "knock-off" Emmanuelle films, which included the name Emmanuelle or its variants in their titles for exploitative reasons, but were not connected to the original series.
