An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 41 1/2" [71 x 105 cm]) (Learn More) The Exalted Flapper, the 1929 James Tinling romantic fantasy royalty comedy (about a princess who happens to be a flapper girl, and who has an arranged marriage with a prince, who she rejects, and he then disguises himself, and she falls in love with him in disguise, but because he is not a prince, her mother has him kidnapped, but everything works out in the end!) starring Sue Carol, Barry Norton, Irene Rich, Albert Conti, Sylvia Field, and Stuart Erwin. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY U.S. movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a different example of this one-sheet (that poster, which sold for $679, came from the same source as this one, and other than these two one-sheets, we don't know of any other U.S. paper from this movie). Other than these one-sheets, we auctioned a lobby card, a glass slide, and two stills from this movie. After this second example is auctioned, it may be many, many years before another one-sheet is found, or another U.S. poster of any kind is found. Also note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41 1/2" [71 x 105 cm]. Condition: good. The poster has separation and tiny paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds, with tiny separation and a small tear near the top crossfold. It has some faint brown dot stains around the edges and some black marks in the lower right blank border. It has tears in the left half of the bottom fold and in the bottom quarter of the vertical fold. It has a few faint brown stains on the back of the image, but they mostly don't show through to the front. After linenbacking by a talented professional, this extremely rare poster will display really well. Learn More about condition grades
