Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 16 1/2" x 24 3/4" [42 x 63 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster had small tears in a vertical fold in Niven's jacket and sword, extending down to the bottom border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
