Here comes warm emotion!"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about a boxer who is killed "by mistake", and an angel gives him a new body, because his old one was destroyed; he becomes a rich man, but he doesn't like his new life, and it is complicated by him finding the love of his life, but fortunately, the head angel finds a solution to all his problems) starring Robert Montgomery (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Claude Rains, Evelyn Keyes, James Gleason (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Edward Everett Horton, Rita Johnson, and John Emery. Note that Warren Beatty remade this movie in 1978, very closely following the original plot, but changing boxing to football, and he changed the name to "Heaven Can Wait", which was the name of the source play for this movie (it was not used for this movie, and it was used two years later on a different major 1940s comedy, starring Don Ameche) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. It has pencil drawing in the star's left eye at left and a pencil slash in Montgomery's face at center. There are some pinholes around the edges and in portions of the star's image, and a defects (including some paper loss in the upper right blank border) are repaired with large piece of brown paper tape from the back.
