An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) King of Burlesque, the 1936 Sidney Lanfield New York City Broadway theater stage acting musical romantic love triangle melodrama ("From a story by Vina Delmar"; about the successful producer of a Broadway burlesque show, and his beautiful singing star; he falls in love with a rich society woman and she convinces him to switch to producing artistic plays, which all flop, and he is penniless, but his former star, who is headlining in London, returns and she gets all of their old burlesque stars to bail him out, and before long, he is back on top and back with his true love!) starring Warner Baxter, Alice Faye, Jack Oakie, Arline Judge, Mona Barrie, Gregory Ratoff, Dixie Dunbar, Fats Waller, Nick Long Jr., Kenny Baker, Jane Wyman, Keye Luke, and Lynn Bari NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. entire card was lightly water stains and it is now "rippled" throughout, and does not lay flat; there are many pinholes across the top of the card and a few across the bottom; there are smudges and stains around the edges of the card; This is the type of lobby card that responds great to restoration! Any talented restorer could "flatten" the card, and remove most of the smudges through chemical means; the pinholes are barely noticeable, but they could be mended.
