Important Added Info: Note that just about everyone knows that this movie was ultimately titled "Return of the Jedi", but that it had the original working title of "Revenge of the Jedi". Teaser posters were made with the working title, and they were made in both a dated and undated version. There are many reproductions of both versions, but we have carefully examined this poster, and we are 100% certain that it is an original DATED Revenge of the Jedi" teaser one-sheet (the poster measures slightly differently from other originals, but that is because it was slightly "stretched" during the linenbacking process). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). It had some creases, scuffs, and tiny bits of paper loss near the vertical fold and just a few scattered in the image. Either before or after the poster was backed, it was displayed, and the yellow of the title area changed to a pale yellow color. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, would display nicely, but there is the issue of the fading in the yellow area (which the vast majority of people would not realize unless they compared it to an image of an unfaded example, but please bear this in mind before placing a bid on this poster).
