An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Penrod, the 1922 Marshall Neilan & Frank O'Connor juvenile comedy short ("Adapted from Booth Tarkington's celebrated book and play"; the first of a series of movies) starring Wesley Barry (in the title role as Penrod; billed as "Freckles Barry"), Tully Marshall, Claire McDowell, John Harron, Gordon Griffith, Newton Hall, and Baby Peggy. Note that this was Baby Peggy's very first feature film! She was the second most famous silent child actor after Jackie Coogan. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. We have provided both a high quality scan of the image and also a separate image of how the glass slide looks, but in that digital image, you can really just see the outline of the slide and defects (if any) around the edges. Condition: very good to fine. The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides.
