Date Sold 9/15/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) They Met in Bombay, the 1941 Clarence Brown World War II (WWII) India romantic jewel thieves crime adventure melodrama ("Racy romance rides the China Seas"; "Based on a story by Hans Kafka"; about master jewel thieves, one male, one female, and they are both trying to steal a giant diamond, and after working against each other, they end up teaming up together, and this being World War II, they end up giving up on robbing the diamond and help fight the Japanese!) starring Clark Gable, Rosalind Russell, Peter Lorre, Jessie Ralph, Reginald Owen, and Matthew Boulton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this a very rare complete set of lobby cards for this movie (surely most of the few sets that survive were long ago "broken up" and sold by the card, and it would likely take many, many years to acquire a complete set!). Condition: very good. Each of the cards has some varying amounts of of border wear and faint smudges or scuffs scattered in parts of the card, and some have pinholes in the borders and they range from "good to very good" to "very good to fine" condition (but most are in generally nice condition).
