What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had pinholes, tears, and some paper loss around the edges, but fortunately, almost every bit of it was in the blank borders. There was a 3" tear in the left border, which slightly extended into the image background. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and because its defects were primarily in the blank borders, it does not have a "restored" look, at all, and it will display wonderfully on the new owner's wall!
