He has been referred to as Canada's greatest songwriter and internationally as a folk-rock legend and has received sixteen Juno Awards, four Ascap awards, nominated for five Grammy Awards, and has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, and Canada's Walk of Fame. He passed away in 2023 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this record sleeve has been personally autographed (signed) by Gordon Lightfoot! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
