Henry Aldrich Haunts a House, the 1943 Hugh Bennett supernatural spooky comedy (about a guy who accidentally haunts a house; one of the series of popular movies based on the Clifford Goldsmith "Henry Aldrich" stories) starring Jimmy Lydon (in the title role "as Henry Aldrich"), Charles Smith (as Dizzy), John Litel, Olive Blakeney, Joan Mortimer, and Vaughan Glaser

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The left and right blank borders were folded over at one time and there was another vertical crease 1" to the right of the left edge of the image. There were many light creases and scuffs scattered in the image, with a 2" scratch in Lydon's cheek by his ear. There were pinholes and smudges around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
