Where man is just one of the savage beasts that roam the Earth..."; "Recreated as never before - with all its realism, savagery and scenic splendors captured on the Giant Screen in breathtaking Color by DeLuxe"; "Now on the Giant Screen in breathtaking PanaMation and vivid Color - the dawn of civilization recreated as never before ...with all its realism, savagery and scenic splendors!"; "Captured on the Giant Screen in breathtaking color by DeLuxe"; "Man vs. woman vs. beast... it was survival of the fittest!"; "First there was man... woman... and beast..."; "This is the way it was 'One Million Years B.C.'"; "Adapted from an original screenplay by Mickell Novak, George Baker, Joseph Frickert"; produced by Hal Roach [who was uncredited], with special effects by Ray Harryhausen) starring Raquel Welch, Percy Herbert, John Richardson, Martine Beswick, and Jean Wladon NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Jack Thurston Important Added Info: This one-sheet has a studio-issued corrective credits snipe in the top left. The difference between the regular credits and the corrective credits is that the part that is covered over said "Filmed in Giant Panamation". A knowledgeable collector tells us that "Panamation" was simply another name for Harryhausen's Super-Dynamation process. However, it is likely copyright issues with Panavision caused the studio to issue the snipe. Condition: good. The poster has tack holes around the edges and there is a snipe at upper left. There are several smudges along the borders and edges and someone crossed out a portion of the credits at lower right with a grease pencil or crayon and there are some tiny spots of surface paper loss at lower left (see our image). Certainly the poster could be restored and linenbacked and it would look great, but please bear in mind its defects and cost of restoration before placing a bid. Learn More about condition grades
