Gulf Porsche 917, the 1970s Swiss poster made by Gulf and Porsche in memoriam of driver Jo 'Seppi' Siffert who was killed in a crash in late 1971. This poster features images of 'Seppi' and the Porsche 917 in action on side one, and a highly detailed drawing of the Porsche broken down with its technical specifications alongside an image of Gulfpride Formula G Racing oil on side two. Note that this poster is similar to the Gulf oil poster featuring Steve McQueen that was given away at service stations in 1971 to promote McQueen's Le Mans movie but the car McQueen drove was number 20 and the car pictured here is number 1. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
