The Deer Hunter, the classic 1978 Michael Cimino (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film) English/U.S. Vietnam War military thriller ("One of the most stunning and powerful films of all time."; "One of the most important and powerful films of all time!"; "Story by Michael Cimino & Deric Washburn and Louis Garfinkle & Quinn K. Redeker"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Robert De Niro (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), John Cazale (in his final movie role), John Savage, Meryl Streep (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Christopher Walken (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and Chuck Aspegren

Important Added Info: Note that this script is the final draft ("Fifth Draft") from June 7, 1977 and the screenplay was written by Michael Cimino. It is in two sections, one which has blank covers on it, and the other with no covers (both attached with brads). We imagine it is in two sections because the script was so long and if it had all been in one section, it would be in danger of breaking apart. The script is entirely photocopied, but there are revision pages where someone crossed out the dialogue by making two long pencil lines, and we think it is surely from when the movie was made and not a later copy.

Condition: very good. There are some stains at the bottom of the first page of each section.
