Date Sold 5/5/2016Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Dark Passage, the 1947 Delmer Daves San Francisco California romantic crime film noir ("Together again!"; "In danger as violent as their love!!!"; "Their crowning achievement together!"; "The hunted become the hunters... As a spectacular Saturday Evening Post serial is brought to the screen!"; "From the Novel by David Goodis"; about a man who was wrongfully convicted of killing his wife, and he escapes from San Quentin and then has plastic surgery to disguise his appearance, and he hitchhikes a ride with beautiful Lauren Bacall, who offers to help him find out who actually killed his wife) starring Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Bruce Bennett, Agnes Moorehead, Tom D'Andrea, Clifton Young, and Douglas Kennedy. Note that this was the third movie in which Humphrey Bogart co-starred with Lauren Bacall. They first met during the filming of "To Have and Have Not" in 1944, and then were married in 1945. They re-teamed for "The Big Sleep" in 1946, and then made this movie the following year. They teamed again in "Key Largo" in 1948, but they did not make another movie together after that, likely having a lot to do with their having two children. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster has pinholes in the corners. It has creases and smudges around the edges, with some smudges in the white background areas, and those areas have darkened slightly unevenly (see our image). There is tiny separation at the top crossfold and tiny separation and tiny paper loss at the bottom crossfold. There is a slight extra vertical fold alongside the middle half of the vertical fold, caused when the poster was machine folded. Otherwise, the poster is in pretty nice condition and has never had any sort of restoration. It can be displayed and enjoyed just as it is, or it would be a very simple linenbacking, and afterwards, it will look wonderful! Learn More about condition grades
