An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, the 1966 Mike Nichols (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) husband-wife marriage relationship melodrama ("...The most eagerly awaited and widely discussed motion picture in years."; "You are cordially invited to George and Martha's for an evening of fun and games*"; "*Important Exception: No one under 18 will be admitted unless accompanied by his parent."; "Screenplay by Ernest Lehman"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; adapted from the play by Edward Albee) starring Elizabeth Taylor (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Richard Burton (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), George Segal (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Sandy Dennis (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Agnes Flanagan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So it is an original still from 1966, but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. There are brown stains in parts of the blank borders, but the still is otherwise in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
