eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 7b827 SO THIS IS LOVE 1sh '53 cool art of sexy Kathryn Grayson as opera star Grace Moore! Date Sold 5/5/2015Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) So This Is Love, the 1953 Gordon Douglas musical biography ("The ragtime-to-riches story of Grace Moore"; "When she shimmied, the show-world shook! When she sang, the whole world thrilled!"; "Marvelous Music!"; "The story of Grace Moore"; "Screen play by John Monks, Jr.") starring Kathryn Grayson (as Grace Moore), Merv Griffin, Joan Weldon, Walter Abel, Rosemary DeCamp, and Jeff Donnell. Note that Warner Bros was likely rightfully afraid of marketing a biography movie about an opera singer, so they deceptively put a sexy image of Kathryn Grayson as a shimmy dancer on all the posters, even though this is not at all reflective of the movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. There are some creases and scuffs scattered in various areas (more so in the lower half of the poster and the lower vertical foldline has much separation). Learn More about condition grades
