An Original Vintage 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Stage Play Still (Learn More) Flag Is Born, the 1946 Luther Adler Broadway stage play production (of the work by Ben Hecht, about the founding of Israel) starring Paul Muni, Marlon Brando, George Baxter, Celia Adler, and William Allyn. Note that a number of very prominent Jewish actors took part in this play, and Marlon Brando, who was not Jewish, took part as well, because he believed in the cause! Brando and Paul Muni had no scenes together in the play, because Muni's character dies at the end of Act I, and Brando's character starts in Act II, but Brando noted in his autobiography that he was greatly influenced by Muni's performance and acting style!
