Note that this play was first made into a movie under the name "Chicago" in 1927, and in 2002 it was remade into a movie musical featuring Rene Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Richard Gere, again under the title "Chicago". The poster has 4" of clean horizontal separation in the middle of the middle horizontal fold, with tiny paper loss at the top crossfold. It had faint stains and tiny tears scattered down the right border and someone put conservation tape on the back of the entire border. The poster also has some tape stains, tears, and small stains in the other borders, and those, too, have conservation tape on the back, and someone performed restoration to the front of those mended border defects (see our super-sized image).
