New York Dolls are a rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) punk rock band from 1971 to 2011. They were formed in New York City by Johnny Thunders, Sylvain Sylvain, Jerry Nolan, Arthur Kane, and David Johansen. Along with the Velvet Underground and the Stooges, they were one of the first bands of the early punk rock scenes. Some of their songs include: Personality Crisis, Trash, and Jet Boy
