A 1952 Re-Release Theatrical Folded Style A Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More)

I Walked With A Zombie, the 1943 Jacques Tourneur West Indies voodoo undead horror thriller ("She's Alive... Yet Dead! She's Dead... Yet Alive!"; "Doomed to be one of the 'walking dead' by weird and wily witchcraft... her radiant blonde loveliness ravaged through the curse of vengeful voodoo!"; "Who said the dead don't walk!"; "See It Happen - right before your startled eyes..in the screen sensation that rips the mask from the darkest secrets of forbidden voodoo!"; "Forbidden voodoo secrets sensationally revealed!"; "Voodoo... Black magic... Witchcraft... From the land of the living dead!"; "You won't believe it, but it's true!"; "Imagine yourself perhaps hungering for love - dying for just one warm kiss... yet alone in a world of people... a part of, yet apart from, everything you hold dear. Wow! What a Spot!"; "Based on an Original Story by Inez Wallace", very loosely based on the novel 'Jane Eyre' by Charlotte Bronte; "Screenplay by Curt Siodmak & Ardel Wray") starring James Ellison, Frances Dee, Tom Conway, Edith Barrett, James Bell, Christine Gordon, and Darby Jones

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that is an extremely rare three-sheet poster. We have only auctioned one from this 1952 re-release of this movie (and it certainly has a striking image and will look great on the new owner's wall) and it sold for $1,317, and we have never auctioned a first release poster larger than a one-sheet! Note also that this three-sheet was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has many tiny pinholes around the edges with some tiny paper loss at several crossfolds. It has pretty minor fold wear, but with a few tiny tears and also a few tiny tears in parts of the borders. There is slight darkening on the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. After a relatively simple linenbacking the poster will display really well!
