An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Irving Berlin's White Christmas, the classic 1954 Michael Curtiz post-World War II sisters holiday singing-and-dancing romantic musical (with classic "Lyrics and music by Irving Berlin"; "The most fabulous music-and-mirth show in motion picture history!"; "Joyous entertainment for every season, any year!!!!") starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen, and Dean Jagger. Note that this was the first motion picture to be filmed in VistaVision! Also note that the title song "White Christmas" was first introduced in 1942 in the Fred Astaire/Bing Crosby movie "Holiday Inn", and it proved to be so popular that this movie was made, utilizing part of the plot of that earlier film, and reusing this song, which was now over a decade old, but it proved to be an even greater hit! Also note that this one-sheet is a special style created because Seventeen Magazine awarded its Picture of the Month seal for outstanding entertainment. We have only seen this style poster twice before! Condition: good to very good. The right 1 1/2" was folded back at one time and there are some smudges and creases along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster. There is some tattering in the right end of the bottom horizontal fold and there is tiny paper loss at the bottom crossfold. There is a large piece of brown paper tape on the back of the poster at lower left that very slightly bleeds through to the front. Learn More about condition grades
