An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Siege of Leningrad, the 1943 Russian World War II (WWII) military conflict documentary narrated by Edward Murrow. It was made during World War II when Russia was our great ally against Hitler, and it was produced by Leningrad Newsreel Studios in Russia, and then it had a commentary added by legendary newscaster Edward R. Murrow, and it was distributed by Artkino Pictures in the U.S., to build up support for Russia (and of course, just a few years later, they would become our greatest enemy!). It was a sort of follow up to the Russian movie Razgrom Nemetskikh Voysk Pod Moskvoy (released in English-speaking countries as "Moscow Strikes Back"), which had been made in 1942, and that movie was released in the U.S. with a narration by Edward G. Robinson! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: good. The still has darkened around the edges.
