An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Andrea King was a French-born actress from the 1940s to the 1990s. She first appeared in Broadway stage shows, but then moved to Hollywood, where she was in high demand! Some of her movies include: The World in His Arms, The Man I Love, and The Lemon Drop Kid. She passed away in 2003 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Andrea King! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that this item was consigned to us from the family of Ken Jones, who was an author of books about movies (including books about character actors and western stars). In the course of researching his books, he became friends with many Hollywood actors, and he would ask them to autograph stills for him (originals if he had them, or repros if he did not), and they obliged, usually returning the stills to him with a personalized inscription "To Ken". In the case of this still, he likely purchased it autographed, because it is not autographed to him. The family does not have a letter of authenticity for this signed item, but we feel certain it is authentic, given Mr. Jones' personal relationship with the star. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
