Artist: Saul Bass Important Added Info: Note that everyone agrees that this poster and "Vertigo" are Saul Bass' two best posters, and it has continued to surprise me that the Vertigo poster regularly sells for much more than this poster! Personally, I like this image just as much (or better) than the image on the Vertigo poster, and I also like this movie just as much (or better) than Veritgo! I think this is an imbalance in the "poster marketplace" that is sure to get corrected over time. I see no reason why one of these posters should sell for less than the other! Also note that this poster is not marked, but it is NOT the style A poster, and since we know that there IS a style A poster on this title, we assume that this poster is the style B, so we are referring to it in that fashion. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some fine surface paper loss in the left half of the top horizontal fold. It had some smudges or writing on the back of part of the top blank border that slightly bled through to the front. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
