If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that, for this mid-1970s French re-release, the French poster designer used the image from the 1938 U.S. re-release one-sheet (which has been endlessly seen, because it was reproduced as a Portal Publication repro!), and they did not change the lettering of the title or credits, so they are in English. Given that the 1938 re-release poster is extremely rare, it seems likely that the poster was based on the Portal artwork! Also, note that this French poster measures approximately 47" x 63" and is linenbacked. This poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them! Condition: fine. This poster was in fine condition prior to linenbacking. There was some typical fold and border wear and tiny paper loss at some crossfolds, but overall the poster was in nice condition! The poster's minor flaws were well corrected during the linenbacking process and the poster now looks great! Learn More about condition grades
