Reeves Eason Warner Bros./Vitaphone World War II (WWII) military medical nurse doctor short subject (a tribute to the doctors and nurses serving in the U.S. Army during World War II; "In cooperation with the United States Army") starring William T. Orr, John Litel, Eleanor Parker, Ray Montgomery, and Michael Ames NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: No condition recorded. This poster was linenbacked, and it had defects which were repaired during the linenbacking process (which we describe below, as well as the quality of the restoration, if I thought there was something about the restoration worth commenting on!). You should also look at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). the poster had tiny holes at the crossfolds and minor creases and smudges along the foldlines; there were pinholes, smudges, areas of surface paper loss, and small areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. The poster was pretty well linenbacked, but you can see some signs of the restoration. There is a scratch in the poster by the hat of the saluting soldier. It would be an easy matter for any restorer to touch up that tiny area without re-backing the poster.
