An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Man From Monterey, the 1933 Mack V. Wright Mexico/California cowboy western starring John Wayne, Ruth Hall, Luis Alberni, Donald Reed, Duke ("The Miracle Horse"), Slim Whitaker, and Tom London NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fair to good. two long tears in the top center of the card (both repaired with tape from the back); there is paper loss between the two tears and surface paper loss along both tears; a 1" tear in the left of the bottom border and surface paper loss in the right of the bottom border; a light 3" diagonal crease that runs from the bottom of Wayne's left shoulder up into the background area; many pinholes, creases, smudges, and small tears around the edges of the card; smudges in the title area; a long, thin water stain that runs from the middle of the left edge of the woman's dress down to the bottom border; While this card has real defects, the image of Wayne is fortunately barely affected. It is also likely that a talented restorer could do a wonderful job restoring this card and there would not need to be much paint in the central part of the image and none in Wayne's figure at all. But please do not bid on this card unless you can accept its clear defects or are willing to pay to have it restored! Learn More about condition grades
