Use It Up - Wear It Out - Make It Do!, the 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("Our labor and our goods are fighting") encouraging people to conserve resources (because there were so many shortages due to the U.S.'s inability to import goods), and featuring artwork of a wife patching up her husband's torn pants (while he is wearing them) as he fixes a lawnmower.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. It had scuff marks in the white background to the top left and right of the image of the woman. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. If I had this poster, I would have a restorer touch up those scuff marks in the white background area, but they are not that distracting.
