An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Marian Nixon was an actress from the 1920s to the 1930s. Some of her movies include: Hands Up!, The Show of Shows, and Pilgrimage. She appeared in 73 movies from 1924 to 1936, at which point she married director William Seiter and retired. In 1971, years after Seiter's death, she married actor Ben Lyon, and she was married to him until he passed away in 1979. Marion passed away in 1983 at the age of 78. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Marian Nixon! Also note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of the items from this consignor we are auctioning were purchased by this dealer from longtime dealers and collectors, and we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic!
